Your cosmetic dentistry FAQs answered

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and overall smile. This branch of dentistry includes treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, crowns, and bridges. The primary goal of cosmetic dentistry is to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your smile, boosting your confidence and improving your overall oral health.

What services do cosmetic dentists provide?

Cosmetic dentistry may include services such as teeth whitening, dental veneers, clear aligners, dental crowns, dental bridges, teeth fillings, dentures and implants. These services not only enhance your smile but also improve oral health.

Cosmetic dentists at Celebrate Dental use advanced techniques to address issues like stained teeth, misalignment, and chipped or missing teeth. We’re here to help you achieve a beautiful and radiant smile.

How to fix teeth with veneers?

Veneers can quickly improve the appearance of your teeth by fixing issues like discoloration, chips, gaps, and minor misalignments. They are thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth, giving you a fresh, natural-looking smile. The process involves a consultation to discuss your goals, preparation of your teeth by removing a small amount of enamel, and then bonding the custom veneers to your teeth. The result is a bright, even smile that looks and feels natural. Ask your Celebrate Dental dentist if veneers are right for you.

How much are veneers?

On average patients pay $1,511 per tooth, depending on factors such as the type of veneer (porcelain or composite resin), the complexity of the procedure, and the dentist’s expertise and location. Without insurance, the price can vary based on the materials used, the dental practice’s location, and the specific needs of your case. On average, patients in the Celebrate Dental network pay around $1,043¹ per tooth. Be sure to consult with your Celebrate Dental dentist to discuss pricing and options that are best for you.

How to whiten teeth properly?

There are a few ways to achieve a whiter, brighter smile:

  1. Professional teeth whitening: For the best results, consider professional treatments offered by your Celebrate Dental dentist.
  2. At-home kits: Use custom-fit trays and professional-grade whitening gel provided by your dentist.
  3. Over-the-counter products: Whitening toothpaste, strips, and gels can help maintain your smile.
  4. Good oral hygiene: Brush and floss regularly to prevent stains.
  5. Diet: Limit stain-causing foods and drinks like coffee, tea, and red wine.
  6. Regular check-ups: Visit your dentist regularly for cleanings and check-ups.

For personalized advice and treatment options, consult with your Celebrate Dental dentist.

Around how much will teeth whitening cost me?

On average, patients pay $283 per arch for teeth whitening at Celebrate Dental. Costs will vary based on the dental location near you, your level of tooth discoloration, as well as your whitening preferences.

Is bonding better than veneers?

Bonding may be a better option than veneers, if the dental cosmetic issue is minor or a smaller localized issue, such as a chipped or cracked tooth. Bonding may be best if you’re looking for a more affordable and faster procedure.

How long does composite bonding last?

If your dental health is kept properly maintained, composite bonding can last anywhere between 5 – 10 years. It’s important to schedule time with your dentist for routine check-ups and cleanings to ensure your oral health is on the right track.

The only thing I don’t like is they don’t have a way to pay online! So trying to pay for your braces when you get paid and they are closed is a lot harder and then you get late fees.

Everyone was very friendly and professional, the doctor came in introduce him self, he was very nice and explained what he was doing and what needed to be done. When my granddaughter and I left the office, I asked her what she thought, she told me that she liked the doctor and the lady that cleans her teeth, they didn’t hurt her and they made her feel under afraid. She gave them all A+.

I wish I could rate them 100 stars! My husband is a wheelchair user and paralyzed on his left side. This has been an issue with other dentists because of his mobility issues. They were so understanding about his OT and I getting him set up and staying with him. He also hasn't been to a dentist since he was a child, and his stroke really effected his oral health. The dental assistant and dentist were both extremely kind and not at all judgmental. My husband was in r afraid of his appointment today, and left the appointment no longer being afraid! I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!
